I will be showing my work this month at Pick, Curated Art and Select Vintage here in Kalamazoo. This is an amazing space and I would love to see you for first Friday's Art Hop this coming May 5th. This store is a gem, meticulously 'picked' vintage furniture and accessories that make me swoon. I feel very honored to show here. My new series, Dilation will be the work shown for the month of May. Recently I have been exploring the experience of birth through abstract and minimalist oil paintings. After having my second child, I felt that I needed to document the journey I have been on these past years with my two sons. It is personal, and an incredibly powerful memory for every woman that has been down this path. We all have our own stories from each child, and my hope is that you can feel mine through this work.
